Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, the Proposal Writer creatively presents complex approaches in written proposals for federal government agencies.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in writing technical, management, transition, past performance, and resume sections for proposals. Assignments may range from producing discrete subsections to writing and leading a complete proposal volume. Proposal Writer works with senior management to identify strategies for Social Solutions assists the proposal development team. The Proposal Writer performs a variety of research, support, and computer-related tasks that involve daily deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Development, Journalism, English, Communications, or related writing field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Six to nine years of professional experience with two to three years of proposal writing experience is required. Experience researching and synthesizing information from multiple sources into a cohesive, easy-to-read, and persuasive final product. Experience in business strategy, business development, and project management. Experience and/or education in a broad range of public health issues relevant to Social Solutions a plus.
