Overview

The Pricing Specialist position will be responsible for coordinating all government sales support activities for federal, state, and local government entities, contractors and small business sales. This includes reporting, audits, trade shows, pricing, lead development, communications to the field, maintaining customer database and implementation of new programs. This position will also be responsible for coordinating existing government program initiatives and strategies, as well as develop new ones.

Responsibilities

  • Working with people in business development, program management, evaluate and analyze Requests for Proposal.
  • Create a schedule, receive cost and schedule inputs, review for compliance to the RFP.
  • Price the proposal.
  • Create a compliant cost volume and submit to the customer. 
  • Participate in pricing revisions, BAFOs, and negotiations with the customer.

 

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Finance, Business or Accounting required
  • 10+ years’ experience estimating proposal, pricing and documentation requirements for government contracts.
  • Must understand government contracting, and have experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Acquisition Regulations, Truth in Negotiations, and Cost Accounting Standards.
