    Social Solutions is seeking an Employee Relations Manager (ERM) – Data Analytics.  The ERM will be tasked with developing various reports and data visualizations as requested by the project and/or client. The ideal candidate will be able to research, prepare, and present data in a tangible manner fit for particular and various audiences.

     

    The ERM will directly supervise staff and liaise with USAID personnel on a daily basis. The ERM will be the first point of contact for Social Solutions employees embedded on the client site. The ERM will assist with the successful delivery of all aspects of the program to include the facilitation and implementation of appropriate technical tools, systems, guidelines, and policies/procedures to ensure quality, value, technical excellence, contractual compliance, and client satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide regular functional oversight and supervision of contract staff;
    • Coordinate recruitment and hiring with HR, USAID, and Program Management Office as required;
    • Manage contract staff performance evaluations (90 day and annual);
    • Provide management support of contract support staff, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, performed in a timely fashion, and meet established quality and performance standards;
    • Ensure staff timesheets are properly documented, approved, and processed;
    • Liaise with HR on personnel issues;
    • Resolve conflicting demands for contractor support service;
    • Provide guidance and direction concerning the resolution of employee issues and concerns;
    • Ensure availability of orientation and training sessions as necessary for support staff;
    • Implement and articulate policies, purposes, and goals of corporate and/or USAID for contractor support staff;
    • Act as liaison for the client with special projects;
    • Provide regular interface with USAID GHSI points of contact (POC), including recruitment updates, staffing needs, and inputs on interview structures and candidates for positions;
    • Update support management team on USAID/GH policies as they are sent out;
    • Contribute to the creation of contract standard operating procedures and policies;
    • Support recruitment process by assisting in the coordination of and taking part in interviews;
    • Coordinate with recruitment team to onboard new staff;
    • Review and approve (travel) expense reports;
    • Review and approve staff related invoices;
    • Provide weekly updates to the corporate office;
    • Guide employees through various contract standard operating procedures and policies;
    • Prepare reports, as directed by Program Manager (PM) and Deputy Program Manager (DPM);
    • Ensure consistent data analysis and interpretation of findings;
    • Ensure PMO has the relevant metrics to support GHSI-III contract;
    • Collect, consolidate, and produce monthly and quarterly GHIS-III reports including analysis of HR activities;
    • Lead dataset preparation, reporting, and analysis for initiative presentations as appropriate;
    • Support the PM and DPM to summarize and present key findings/themes;
    • Recommend opportunities to ensure data integrity and cleanliness and leverage automation through technology;
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, International Development, or related field with 5 plus years of relevant experience  or a Master’s degree with 3 plus years of equivalent experience;
    • Minimum 3+ years of experience in data analytics preferably in a global, public, matrixed company;
    • Knowledge of statistical analysis principles; awareness of trends and best practices regarding data analysis;
    • Superior analytic skills and experience manipulating and analyzing complex data;
    • Ability to develop informative reports and visualizations of results and trends;
    • Ability to draw conclusions from datasets and formulate recommendations;
    • Experience managing relationships with internal stakeholders across departments;
    • Capability to multi-task, managing multiple projects while maintaining a close attention to detail;
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a very polished customer service-oriented demeanor;
    • Ability to work independently, initiate, and identify solutions;
    • Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and proven problem-solving skills;
    • Effectively handle a heavy workload, prioritizing work, and meeting deadlines;
    • Requires maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
    • Systems savvy and experienced with HRIS, ATS, MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Expert Excel skills required.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Facility Access/Secret Security Clearance is required
